Each companion has their own personality, communication style, and presence, allowing for natural and unique interactions through conversation.

You can set the name that companions use to address you from "Preferred Name" in the Settings page. You can change this name at any time.

Yes. You can delete conversation histories with specific companions from the Chats page. Deleting a conversation allows you to start fresh with that companion.

• Guest users: Conversations have limited memory. Companions can remember a short recent portion of the conversation, but this context may reset between sessions or after some time.
• Free plan: Extended memory is available. Conversations feel more continuous, and companions can retain more context across messages.
• Standard plan: The most extended memory is available, allowing for more natural and consistent long-term conversations.

Image generation lets you create your own customized companion images for personal enjoyment. You can:

• Generate custom companion images using preset styles and optional text prompts
• Keep generated images privately in your gallery
• Use a generated image as your personal chat background

Image generation is designed for personal entertainment and customization.

Yes. You can switch the chat background between a companion image background and a normal, plain view from the menu icon at the upper right corner of the chat window. This lets you choose the chat style that feels most comfortable to you.

You can start a conversation by simply typing a message — anything you like, in your own words. There are no required formats or special commands.

We take data protection seriously. Your conversations and generated images are private by default and are not publicly visible. We do not sell user data. Details about how data is handled and protected are explained in our Privacy Policy.

Yes. While the platform interface is optimized for English (EN) and Japanese (JA), you can chat with companions in any language supported by the underlying AI.
For non-Japanese or multilingual conversations, selecting the EN platform language generally provides more stable results.

No. All companions on PowderChat are AI-generated, and they are not real people.

PowderChat offers a free plan with limited text usage and access to selected companions. A standard subscription plan is also available, which offers unlimited text usage. Image generation requires points. Both free points and purchased points do not expire and remain available for use while the user's account remains active.

Payments for subscriptions and image generation points are processed securely through Stripe. Supported payment methods may include credit cards and digital wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay. PowderChat does not store your payment card information.

Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Settings page. Cancelling your subscription stops future charges, but does not provide refunds for past payments unless required by law.

If you cancel before the end of your billing period, your plan will remain active until the end of that billing period.

You can delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Account deletion removes or anonymizes associated data according to our Privacy Policy.

We do our best to provide helpful and accurate responses. However, AI-generated messages can contain mistakes or incomplete information. You should not rely on AI responses as factual, professional, or authoritative advice.

No. PowderChat is not a replacement for real human relationships, professional care, or expert services. It is designed to complement real-world support, not replace it.
